64th Birkenhead Sea Scouts
General synopsis
For the last few years we have been building up our fleet of boats through various funding schemes and sponsorship. It is now time to put them to good use and we are getting involved with district and county events with the ability to offer day activities and expeditions. With this comes the requirement to expand our water based training, so our leaders have been attending a variety of training courses.
With this years RN inspection looming once again, the troop is getting in as much sea time as possible. This has become increasingly difficult as we have been unable to use our boathouse for some time due to legal reasons.
